The lotus flower represents purity and enlightenment. It is regarded as good fortune flower that is believed to facilitate a heighten sense of peace and mind transformation.

Called Lien Hua in Chinese, the lotus is the symbol of purity, enlightenment and ultimate wisdom. It is a spiritual flower, unaffected by the mud and murky waters out of which it grows represents a person’s rise and detachment from problems and sufferings in life.

According to the Buddhist sutras, the lotus flower has four virtues: scent, purity, softness and loveliness.
